Vitamin D's effect on BCC treatment
We conducted a clinical trial to understand how vitamin D might impact skin cancer treatment, specifically targeting basal cell carcinoma (BCC). In our study, 35 patients participated in an innovative approach where they received three sessions of photodynamic therapy (PDT) using a special light, after either taking high-dose vitamin D, a placebo, or having no pretreatment at all.

Using advanced 3D photography, we monitored the tumors throughout the treatment. We found that 70% of tumors cleared after PDT, but those that didn't respond often had aggressive histologic subtypes. Interestingly, the effectiveness of vitamin D seemed to relate to the tumor's depth. Among the tumors analyzed, thinner ones showed a 65% chance of responding to vitamin D, while thicker tumors had a much lower response rate of just 28%.

Overall, we discovered that vitamin D may be a beneficial supplement in enhancing the effects of PDT for suitable BCC lesions. These findings suggest a promising potential role for vitamin D in skin cancer therapy, making it an encouraging avenue for future exploration.

Excellent! I took several months before writing this review to assess the results. Following an analysis, my vitamin D levels have improved, which is encouraging. I purchased a large jar at a great price for the family. Vitamin D is vital for muscle tone and boosting immunity; it also supports the thyroid gland, aids in blood clotting, and helps in maintaining nerve sheaths while regulating blood pressure. Iโ€™m pleased to recommend it! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Reduced pain
I ordered this for my 5-year-old daughter, who has juvenile arthritis, with a daily dosage of 2000 mcg. Initially, there wasn't much change, and she experienced discomfort in the mornings. However, she is now full of energy and active, which delights me. For adults, the recommended dosage is 5000 mcg. We took it for six months and were advised to stick to the maximum dosage for better effects. Happy with our results!

Softer skin
I gave this to my daughters as prescribed by the endocrinologist. Although we haven't done a follow-up analysis yet, I can already see positive changes. Their skin on their hands and elbows, which used to be very dry, is now much softer and healthier.

The most vital vitamin! Iโ€™ve been taking it regularly, and my whole family agrees itโ€™s essential for our overall health. It's crucial for the healthy growth of bones and teeth and supports the immune system. I recommend a dosage of 5000 IU for adults in autumn and spring, while my teenage child takes 2000 ME. Since taking this vitamin, my energy levels have significantly increased, and Iโ€™ve also noticed improvements in my skin and hair. Wishing everyone good health! ๐Ÿ˜Š
